3 hours, so 17 equivalent on the elliptical.  Watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington.

In a nutshell

Loved this quote: "My dad had the right idea. And it all worked out. He used to say to me: 'Son, don't miss the wonders that surround you because every tree, every rock, every anthill, every star is filled with the wonders of nature.' And he used to say to me: 'Have you ever noticed how grateful you are to see daylight again after coming through a long dark tunnel?' 'Well,' he'd say, 'Always try to see life around ya as if you'd just come out of a tunnel.'"

And the climatic scene of the movie:

I was starting to think we needed to check your mental health status with your recent posts, but 3 HOURS ON THE ELIPTICAL, I think you are insane!!!! Great workout and as always, very entertaining posts... except that one with my picture on it.

Darn it! I can't see the pictures with this new internet filter at work. But I know well the Simpson's episode you're referring to.

Rhett and Smooth, I find the elliptical rather relaxing. It was either that or take a Sunday nap. It stretched the workout to 3 hours because I stumbled upon the movie and didn't want to leave before it was over.

Burt, not surprising that you are a Simpson's guru.
