10 very easy, 8:30 pace.  Last mile only added some variable incline.

After showering, I realized I had packed two right shoes.  Amazing how careless I can be in packing for the gym.

you ran 10 miles with a right shoe on your left foot?

From jun on Wed, May 20, 2009 at 11:43:10 from 66.239.250.209

I think I might have a seizure from looking at that photo.

Cal, I wasn't clear on the shoe incident. They were my work shoes. In the past I've left my shirt in the car, I've forgotten to pack underwear, wrong color socks, no socks, etc.

I better leave the last comment alone!!

10 miles already? Are you crazy??? :)

(no need to answer, we all already know)

I have avoided this site to avoid the pressure of actually training. So be nice to me.

JohnnyV, this site made the biggest difference in my training. As soon as I got back on it last July, I had some accountability. You will do great.

Wow, Paul, were you even sore from the race? All that decline running must have paid off.

From RivertonPaul on Wed, May 20, 2009 at 12:25:51 from 67.42.27.114

Dale,

My left calf was a bit sore. Seems I have a muscle imbalance which I need to work on. Problem with that is its such a long term thing and so many factors to work on -- foot strike, hip alignment, center of gravity, etc.

Thanks for the seizure inducing picture.

From RivertonPaul on Wed, May 20, 2009 at 12:37:13 from 67.42.27.114

For anyone getting a seizure at work, be sure and make a workers comp claim.

Love the spider I think I will use that as my screen saver!

Really though ten miles already I thought I was doing good with three!

So are you at work in bare feet or did you go home and fix the problem? You could always store extra clothes in your office.

Dang I should have read your blog at work...I feel an aura coming on. Good job on running ten....I am not sure how I get conned so easily, my six today (Saturday) turned into nearly a half marathon. Insanity has its prices.
