4 at 8:00, -2.5% decline.

1 at 8:00, 3% to 5% incline to over simulate the Ogden hill around mile 15.

1 at 7:00, -3% decline.

.5 at 6:30, -3% decline.

.5 at 5:40, -3% decline.  (Of course the decline makes it much easier to run fast.)

Good workout, intended to require a bit more effort for the last 3 miles.

And I did all this, of course, on the notoriously dangerous treadmill.

Your becoming a Tread Junkie! Nice workout!

Great mid-week mileage.

Thanks Andy,

I procrastinate too much, and figured I could sneak in some extra miles.

Where in the world do you get your footage!!??

Nice run Paul!! :)

Ha ha ha! Again, thanks for a daily laugh.

Nice treadmill work. Do you watch TV while you run or listen to music? Oh... I know you surf the web...that is how you get all this great stuff!

From RivertonPaul on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 13:03:00 from 67.42.27.114

Kathie,

At home I typically watch TV or a DVD. At the gym, I watch people or socialize with someone next to me. Today was a gym day.

So did you start your run with the TM mounting as shown above? If not, I am not impressed with your TM effort at all. LOL

From RAD on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 13:33:49 from 67.166.99.8

Nice job Paul!! I've taken your advice about the downhill running on the TM and I love it!! After a hard class I like to hit the TM for a few fast downhill miles - makes me feel fast :) Nice Ogden re-creation...I'm really worried about flying down the canyon then hitting that hill and dying!! I ought to try a similar train, but there's NO way I'd run that far on a TM...I'd end up like the guy in the video!!

From James W. on Wed, May 06, 2009 at 14:05:53 from 12.151.72.1

LOL, the pictures and videos you post on your entries crack me up! The treadmills I run on unfortunately do not do negative incline . . .

Sweet workout Paul, and great video!

From DonGardinero on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 12:12:56 from 75.162.98.151

Awesome run, Paul!!! By the way, thanks for always posting pictures and videos. My kids love watching them over and over again. Great stuff.

Ouch

From Rhett on Thu, May 07, 2009 at 15:09:11 from 170.215.58.122

Paul, I must have watched the video of the guy trying to get on the moving TM 20 times and I laugh every time. That is great. Have anyone of you guys ever tried that method of getting on a TM?

From Teena on Fri, May 08, 2009 at 00:13:28 from 67.177.20.13

Paul, I am so with Rhett on this one!! I have come to your blog several times to watch the footage! :)

Ry got a good laugh at it as well.

It's going to be hard for you to top this one! :) (but try anyway ... please)
