Yo Paul, your sure racking up the miles this week....are you even doing a taper before St George? Good luck...

Slick and Cal,

Remarkably, my body is responding well and I am not feeling too hammered. I purposefully have not done a three week taper, given that as I've been dealing with my achilles issues and I did not have as strong of an August as I would have hoped. I respect that there are plenty of ways to taper. This year I'm sort of following the ideas set forth in the following:

So, I will be easing up soon.

Jeff, thanks.

I think the word "Kill" is probably correct but you may have got the order wrong. More like "TOU is going to Kill Rob." :)

Watching how fast you were running this morning made me tired.

8 miles at 6:00/mile? Very impressive.

From a very early age, that video has always made me a little uncomfortable.

Andy, remember, they are downhill so not true 6:00 miles.

From DonGardinero on Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 12:48:22 from 75.162.101.24

Very solid!!! I need to un-block youtube so I can see all the videos you post.

From Rob on Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 13:54:17 from 204.15.86.95

I'll remember that for the first 18 miles tomorrow. "This is down hill, it's not really happening"

From Teena Marie on Fri, Sep 17, 2010 at 14:42:33 from 174.52.45.85

DANG!!! Are you for real?

Great job Paul. 73 miles this week! wow and how far are you going tomorrow? I'm jealous.

From RAD on Sat, Sep 18, 2010 at 13:20:11 from 67.172.229.125

Nice work Paul! Always impressed. Wish my gym still had the downhill TM's - they really are a good trainer.
