So does the good in "good deep pool running" modify how deep the pool was, how good the actual pool is, or how good the running was?

Andy, I first borrowed Teena's belt and have since ordered my own. I tether the belt for two reasons. First, it allows me to stake out my own space so nobody bugs me and I can do my workout in a smaller space. Secondly, it seems to allows for more resistance as you can increase the intensity of the workout by pulling harder against the tether. I try to mimic a running motion, but you can also work on trying to lengthen your stride and various aspects of the stride without risk of injury. Amazingly, I have found I can do an hour of intervals for cardio benefit which would totally have thrashed my legs otherwise through running.

Nice workout - never tried it tethered, but it sounds like a better workout than simply 'floating' along!

Nice job still going strong with the pool runs. Besides keeping you in shape you'll be king of mental toughness when you get back to road running.
