Sweet Breaking News:

It's official: "Napoleon Dynamite" is coming to TV.

Fox is giving a series order to a project based on the indie hit.

Fox has picked up six episodes of the show, with the original cast on board as voice talent -- including Jon Heder as the title character.

With "Dynamite," the comedy follows the misadventures of an awkward high school teenager and his quirky friends as they struggle to navigate life in rural Idaho.

Jared Hess, Jerusha Hess, and "Simpsons" veteran Mike Scully are writing and executive producing "Dynamite."

Here's the first image released of "Dynamite":

I can't wait! Napoleon is probably the most quoted movie around our house...well, it might be tied with Dumb and Dumber. Either way, I hope it's as good as the original. You know how I like the 'good ones' :)

From Burt on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 15:48:08 from 206.19.214.144

I thought your "It was a good one." was a direct quote from Dumb and Dumber. Now I know.

I never got the whole Napolean Dynamite thing. I guess I didn't watch it enough times to fully get it.

From RAD on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 16:11:06 from 67.172.229.125

Rhett, you don't have to watch it multiple times...you just have to lower your IQ :)

From Rhett on Tue, Oct 12, 2010 at 16:15:56 from 184.10.154.226

RAD, I'm guessing that watching it multiple times will lower your IQ. :)

I think i am the only one on the planet that hates that show. I have never made it past the first 30 minutes, but I have seen blips throughout the movie because it is on constantly at my house. My 5 year old quotes it!
